General Operating Instructions (Tabview, EFORM & Qwiktext) All of our systems are designed to be reset each morning, or alternatively powered down at night, then powered back on in the morning. Failure to do so will result in out of date information displayed on the customer unit, and missed updates. Power off - Reset This is done at the Hard Disk or CPU unit (Not the screen). To perform a reset or shutdown simply press the power switch on the front of the unit for approximately 2 seconds and release. Windows should then perform a Safe Shutdown. In the event that the system does not respond to this method, simply hold the power button in, until system powers down. To power the unit back on, simply press the same button momentarily and system will power back on. EFORM The best time to power on your customer EFORM system is after completing your wallsheet printouts for the day. Events such as printer jams, reprocessing of information or general problems during printing can cause network errors for your customer unit, if you power on the customer EFORM during printing. EFORM must be reset daily to update the latest information.
